The Indian Air Force invites the application for recruitment of Officers in Indian Air Force for Permanent Commisison and Short Service Commission. The applications are invited from eligble candidates for Course Commencing in January 2011 for 129 GDOC, 22 Short Service Commission for Men and No. 38 Short Service Commission Course for women.
The current advertisement by Indian Air Force incudes vacancy in different branches such as Administration and Logistics, Meteorology, Accounts and Education. A brief details about the jobs and other information about the current advertisement is as follows.
The eligibility Conditions for various branched for which Indian Air Force has advertised are as Follows
Admin & Logistics : Graduate with 60% or PG with 50%
Accounts : Graduate with 60% in Commerce or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce / CA/ MCom or ICWA with B.Com with 50%
Meteorolgoy Branch : PG Degree with 50% marks in Science/Geography/MCA
Education Branch : PG with 50% Marks in English/Statistics/Psychology/Computer Science/Mathematics/Defence Studies/Physics/Management/M.Ed
Minimum Heigh : Male – 157 cms, Female – 152 cms
Last Date : 08 March 2010

Dear sir,
I have a doubt regarding the eligibility criteria for gdoc ssc 38 course fr women in airforce. Sir I am doing graduation nd m in final year. I have secured 58% till my second year aggregate ..final year exams are going to happen soon in which i am sure that i will get 60% and above .Sir i want to know that can i appear for this 38 ssc women written exam as you also know that candidates who have secured 60%till there second year exams can get less percentage in there final year exams….so if they can appear in 38ssc written exam then why can’t I as i have to still appear for my final year exams nd i will score 60% and above in them….
